Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting

  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and effective documentation practices
  • Collaborative mindset for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing targeted therapy interventions for students to support their access to curriculum and school activities
  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify students’ needs and establish measurable goals
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs and school objectives
  • Tracking progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing detailed reports for educational teams and families
  • Consulting with teachers and staff to promote motor skill development throughout the school day
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture
