Occupational Therapist School Setting - Ridgefield, WA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state
• Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and relevant documentation

• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both individually and in groups
• Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for student supports
• Provide strategies and resources for classroom staff to support student access and participation
• Communicate regularly with parents and educational teams regarding student progress and interventions
