Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure within the state (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in school-based settings
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Passion for supporting students’ growth through evidence-based interventions
  • Ability to adapt to diverse educational environments and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs
  • Document progress and maintain detailed records consistent with school and legal requirements
  • Support teachers in classroom modifications/accommodations to enhance student participation
  • Educate and empower families about strategies for continued progress at home
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
