Occupational Therapist School Setting in Ridgeland, SC

Exciting opportunity to support students’ growth and development in a dynamic PreK-12th grade school setting! We are seeking two passionate and adaptable Occupational Therapists to take on contract assignments working with a diverse student population. This role offers the unique chance to utilize your expertise across multiple delivery models, including in-person, home health, healthcare settings, and teletherapy.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license
• Experience with school-based occupational therapy
• Strong background in OT for home health or healthcare environments
• Proficient with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor therapeutic strategies to meet varying student needs (PreK-12th grade)
• Flexible and responsive to changing environments and caseloads

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students from preschool through high school
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve student-centered goals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and district protocols
• Adapt services seamlessly between in-person and virtual models, ensuring equity and access for all students
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student independence and engagement
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings, progress reports, and ongoing program development

This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek. You’ll make a direct impact while developing your skills alongside dedicated educators and professionals.
