A fulfilling contract opportunity is available in the Rillito, AZ area, working full-time across two school sites. Your dedication will reach K–12th grade students, including those in self-contained classrooms, as you collaborate with teachers and the Occupational Therapist to deliver essential therapeutic interventions.

What You’ll Need:

• Valid COTA licensure/certification in Arizona
• Experience providing occupational therapy services to school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Adaptability to work in various educational environments, including self-contained classrooms
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the OT to implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
• Support students across developmental areas (fine motor, sensory, daily living skills) as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with school teams to promote student progress and access to curriculum
• Document session data, observations, and progress; contribute to IEP meetings when appropriate
• Travel between two designated school locations during the week
• Offer guidance and resources to teachers, parents, and students to enhance participation and independence

This is a 40 hour per week position for the 2026–2027 school year, providing the chance to develop trusted relationships and see firsthand the positive changes in students’ abilities and confidence.
