Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively evaluate, plan, and implement interventions for K-12 students
- Strong communication skills for collaborative work with staff, students, and families
- Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) is highly desirable
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload across two school locations
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation
- Adapt strategies for students in self-contained classrooms and general education settings
