School Occupational Therapist - Rising Sun, Indiana

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility for practice in Indiana
• Experience or strong interest in school-based OT
• Background providing therapy in home health, teletherapy, or broader healthcare settings
• Familiarity with educational documentation and IEP participation
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and caregivers
• Flexibility working with diverse caseloads and adapting to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students on your assigned caseload
• Conduct ongoing assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress

• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and document services as required
• Utilize virtual or in-person methods as needed to ensure consistent care
• Support the school community by providing consultation to teachers and caregivers
• Assist in transition planning for students returning from or moving between therapy services
