School Occupational Therapist - Riverside, California

A contract position is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services within a school setting in Riverside, CA. This role supports two elementary school sites and collaborates with the Early Childhood Assessment Team to conduct assessments.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload of approximately 50 students.
• Delivering occupational therapy services across two elementary school locations.
• Conducting thorough assessments for early childhood students.
• Collaborating closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 50 students effectively.
• Familiarity with early childhood assessments and intervention strategies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

This contract runs from April 6th through the end of the school year. The expected work schedule is 40 hours per week, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
