Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Experience in school-based OT settings
• Background in home health or broader healthcare OT is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to various age groups and learning needs
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned sites
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and educational teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for OT services
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Travel to different schools within the Riverside area to provide direct therapy services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers on strategies and interventions
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Contribute to IEP meetings and engage in goal-setting as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Offer consultative support and in-class strategies as needed
