Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience in school-based OT settings
- Background in home health or broader healthcare OT is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to various age groups and learning needs
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned sites
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for OT services
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Travel to different schools within the Riverside area to provide direct therapy services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers on strategies and interventions
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and engage in goal-setting as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Offer consultative support and in-class strategies as needed
