Occupational Therapist School Setting in Riverside, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active California OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate intervention strategies
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support students’ educational and developmental needs
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide training and resources for school staff and families to maximize student engagement
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse learning styles and abilities
