Make an immediate impact supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Riverside, CA! Two contract positions are available: one full-time, full school year opportunity and one full-time maternity leave coverage projected to begin in August and extend through March. These roles are ideal for passionate OTs who thrive independently, can manage fluctuating caseloads, and value making a difference for diverse learners.
What We're Looking For:
- Current, active California Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience working in California schools is a must
- Demonstrated ability to administer the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments to students ranging from ages 3-22 with varying disabilities
- Confidence in handling K-12 caseloads, supporting mild to severe needs
- Strong analytical skills—capable of utilizing data to respond to parent concerns and tailor service recommendations effectively
- Self-motivated and organized: you’ll create your own schedule and work independently in the field, often as an itinerant provider
- Willingness to flex with ever-changing caseloads and student needs
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred, but not required
- Please note: only licensed OTs will be considered; OTAs are not eligible for these independent positions

- Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and consultations for a diverse student population
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to ensure optimal outcomes
- Adapt and prioritize activities based on student need and district goals
- Document progress and outcomes to support ongoing student development
