Take on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students as a skilled Occupational Therapist or experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This position is based near Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga, CA, covering a leave from mid-August through January 2027. You’ll work directly within school settings, making a direct impact on students’ development by promoting their independence and educational success.

Compensation for this role ranges from $35 to $55 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Prior experience in school-based OT or as a COTA in educational environments
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and protocols
  • Strong focus on improving fine motor skills in children and adolescents
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
  • Collaborate with general and special education teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Document session progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
  • Consult with teachers and participate in IEP meetings to support student development
  • Support and implement fine motor and functional skill-building exercises
