Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist School Setting - Riverside, CA

This contract position, beginning March 1st and ending June 30, 2026, offers a rewarding opportunity to work full time, up to seven hours daily, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break built in.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist certification and state licensure (required)
• Previous experience within school settings preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Solid organizational and documentation abilities
• Dedication to creating a positive, engaging learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for students referred for services
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP/504 plans
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students during school hours
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary education teams and families
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Educate staff and family members on strategies to support student function in the classroom
