Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Active Occupational Therapist license
- OT certification required
- School-based OT experience preferred, though enthusiastic new grads are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to effectively support diverse student needs within an educational environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for students
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to support student growth in educational settings
- Collaborate closely with special education and general education teams, families, and other therapists
- Track and document student progress, updating goals and recommendations as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
