Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Demonstrated experience assessing and working with students in school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with educators, families, and students
- Ability to design and implement individualized, evidence-based interventions
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students with a range of abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals based on assessment results and educational needs
- Document and communicate student progress effectively to staff and families
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to develop appropriate student plans
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to students, teachers, and staff
