Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist School Setting in Riverside, CA

This full-time contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of 50–55 students with varying needs. Key Qualifications:

• Active and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state
• Certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Effective organizational skills to manage documentation, caseload, and therapy plans
• Enthusiasm for engaging with students across a diverse spectrum of abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for students as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and updates
• Monitor and adjust therapy approaches to support student progress and meet goals
• Educate staff and families about strategies to reinforce OT goals throughout the school day
