Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and school documentation requirements
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively support students across K-12 grades
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to student-centered, individualized support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted occupational therapy services to students in group and individual formats
  • Assess student needs and develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and wellbeing
  • Maintain detailed, compliant records for each assigned student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on student goals and accommodations
  • Adjust service delivery based on student progress and feedback from educational teams
