Occupational Therapist School Setting in Rochester, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active New York State OT license
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience with school-based OT services, preferably within K-5 populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Passion for helping children achieve academic and developmental milestones
• Flexibility for a contract term of 30-45 days, with possibility for extension

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students according to IEP goals
• Evaluate students’ functional levels, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
• Consult and collaborate with educators and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy activities
• Adapt therapy goals and techniques to meet each student’s unique needs
