Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active or eligible state Occupational Therapist license
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to evaluate student needs and design individualized intervention plans
- Commitment to evidence-based practices in OT
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students’ functional and academic needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and training to school staff as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
