Qualifications and Experience:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administrators
- Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
- Commitment to supporting children with varying needs and building positive rapport
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing students' motor skills and functional needs within the school environment
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
- Collaborating with educators and families to address students' goals and progress
- Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation of services and outcomes
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing expert input
- Supporting students in achieving greater independence and academic participation
- Staying current with best practices and continuing professional growth
