Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
- Previous experience within school-based or pediatric settings strongly favored
- Skilled in assessments, interventions, and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication abilities working with students, teachers, and families
- Organized, proactive, and adaptable to changing school needs
- Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ unique needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster students’ access to curriculum and daily activities
- Collaborate with educators to integrate OT strategies within classroom routines
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and resources to families to support student success at home and school
- Adapt interventions and recommendations as students’ needs evolve throughout the year
