Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license for practice in California
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Understanding of elementary-level student needs and IEP processes
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and education teams effectively
- Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
- Compassionate communicator who thrives in dynamic environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine appropriate OT interventions supporting school success
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy services to elementary-aged children
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for holistic student support
- Maintain thorough progress notes and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adjust intervention strategies based on student growth and feedback
