School Occupational Therapist - Rohnert Park, California

Make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of elementary students as an Occupational Therapist working two days per week on a contract basis near the Rohnert Park area. Your expertise will foster students’ independence, engagement, and success within school routines and activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapy license for practice in California
• Prior experience with pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Understanding of elementary-level student needs and IEP processes
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and education teams effectively
• Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
• Compassionate communicator who thrives in dynamic environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine appropriate OT interventions supporting school success
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Provide direct, evidence-based therapy services to elementary-aged children
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for holistic student support
• Maintain thorough progress notes and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adjust intervention strategies based on student growth and feedback
