Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is strongly desired
• Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Ability to conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Skilled in supporting students with a variety of physical, developmental, or sensory needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Offer recommendations for adaptations and modifications to help students access the curriculum
• Engage in IEP meetings, providing expertise in goal setting and student progress
