Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school settings; highly qualified COTAs with extensive school experience are welcome to apply
- Strong documentation skills, including familiarity with school health software (SHARES, Onward) and Excel for IEP logs
- Ability to coordinate and conduct evaluations, provide consults, and attend ARDs
- Fingerprinting required per district policy
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 70, with 30–40 students receiving direct treatment on a rotating schedule
- Deliver only treatment services (no COTAs to supervise)
- Serve across 6–7 schools within a designated zone
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of IEPs
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site, typically 8:00–4:00 (some sites may start at 7:30)
