Key Qualifications:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Prior experience collaborating with educators and families in a school or pediatric environment
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to support students with diverse backgrounds and a range of physical, developmental, and sensory challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct student assessments, write reports, and contribute to the eligibility determination process
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional school performance
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into daily classroom routines
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise in student planning discussions
  • Maintain thorough records of sessions, progress, and communication per district policy and state requirements
