Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Comfortable evaluating, assessing, and documenting student progress
- Team-oriented with a positive and flexible attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote success in the classroom
- Conduct assessments and create meaningful intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports
- Engage in student, staff, and family meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Adapt and modify tasks and environments to meet individual student needs
