This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a real impact working with a diverse caseload in a school-based setting. Starting August 11th, you’ll collaborate in a dynamic educational environment near Roseville, CA, providing Occupational Therapy services to a caseload of 50 students in both general education and mild/moderate settings. The assignment runs ASAP through June 10th and/or for the entire 2025-2026 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California
- Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Ability to support students with mild to moderate needs
- Skilled in both direct intervention and consultative services for educational staff and caregivers
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational talents
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all learners
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services according to each student’s IEP
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
- Provide strategies and recommendations to help students succeed within the classroom
- Offer professional development or training as needed to school staff
