In this role, you’ll serve general education and mild to moderate needs students, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other specialists, you will be an integral part of a supportive educational community.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience providing OT services in school settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Familiarity with direct intervention and consultative models
- Skilled in designing and implementing individualized and group OT interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to general education and mild/moderate students
- Provide both direct therapy and consult services as needed
- Assess and monitor students’ progress; create and adapt treatment plans
- Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with school and program standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
