Occupational Therapist School Setting - Roxbury, MA

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings to support Extended School Year (ESY) services. This contract position is located in Roxbury, MA, providing therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services during ESY, focusing on enhancing students’ functional skills and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions to meet student needs.
• Provide therapeutic support 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from July 6, 2025, to August 7, 2025.
• Promote a safe and supportive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
• Knowledge of K-12 student developmental and educational needs.
• Familiarity with ESY programming requirements.
• Safe Care Certification is preferred, enhancing ability to maintain student safety and well-being.
