Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in the state (or eligibility pending licensure)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Ability to design and implement interventions tailored to diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with educators, therapists, and families
- Flexibility to work with a K-12 caseload (final assignment to be determined)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support classroom participation
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Provide consultative support and strategies to staff and families
