Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in providing OT interventions and evaluations for diverse student needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload across K-12 grade levels
- Commitment to supporting each student’s individual goals and educational plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in both individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
- Adapt interventions and strategies to accommodate a range of learning environments and student needs
- Participate in ongoing professional development and district training
