Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in providing OT interventions and evaluations for diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload across K-12 grade levels
  • Commitment to supporting each student’s individual goals and educational plans

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
  • Adapt interventions and strategies to accommodate a range of learning environments and student needs
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and district training
