This full-time, contract opportunity involves working across multiple campuses in a district close to Sacaton, AZ, making a meaningful impact on students’ lives each day. This district-wide opening seeks a dedicated individual skilled in school-based occupational therapy as well as home health and teletherapy modalities, capable of helping students improve their fine and gross motor skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Arizona
  • Experience in school settings supporting diverse student populations
  • Comfortable providing OT services in classroom, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy environments
  • Proficient in planning interventions to enhance fine and gross motor skills
  • Experience collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
  • Strong communication and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple campuses and a variety of educational needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students across various campuses in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Consult with staff and families to optimize student access to curriculum
  • Utilize teletherapy tools when appropriate to reach students and expand service delivery options
