Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in the state of Maine
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams
- Adaptability and creative problem-solving in a dynamic educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide individualized therapy for students with diverse needs to support their educational success
- Develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and other specialists
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in school meetings as needed
- Consult with staff and families to promote functional skills in the classroom and at home
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing school occupational therapy services
