Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sacramento, CA

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective therapy plans
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths, and document progress with accuracy and care
• Support diverse learners with a focus on fostering independence, participation, and school success
• Provide consultation and education to staff and parents as needed to promote therapeutic strategies within the school environment

Qualifications required:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure in California or eligibility to obtain before the assignment start date
• Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
