Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid California Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Previous experience delivering Occupational Therapy services in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Comfort working collaboratively with educators, staff, families, and other service providers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Adaptable and solution-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide direct OT intervention and consultation to support students' educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement accommodations and strategies in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
- Monitor, track, and document student progress in alignment with school requirements
- Offer training and resources to staff and caregivers as needed to promote student independence
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding student care
