This opportunity is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential support within a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. This is a full-school-year contract position ideal for a dedicated professional committed to enhancing student development and participation through individualized therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective, student-centered treatment plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and progress.
- Provide ongoing documentation and reports in compliance with educational standards and policies.
- Support students in developing skills necessary for academic success, social participation, and daily activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 populations.
- Strong understanding of school-related therapies, accommodations, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with school staff and families.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently in a dynamic environment.
