This contract position begins August 11th, with opportunities for immediate start through June 10th or the full 2025-2026 academic year. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong clinical background working with school-aged children
  • Effective communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to manage a balanced caseload and provide both direct and consultative services
  • Reliable, organized, and flexible with changing school needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to general education and mild/moderate students as identified in IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success within the educational setting
  • Conduct assessments, develop tailored intervention plans, and monitor progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for a caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Consult with school staff to implement classroom strategies and modifications
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input to develop appropriate goals and accommodations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that champions the abilities of every student
