Occupational Therapist School Setting - Sacramento, CA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a school setting near Sacramento, CA. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California OT license (or eligibility) required
• Will consider experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
• Ability to start as soon as possible and commit to a full-time, in-person schedule
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students and develop individualized intervention plans
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students’ goals are achieved
• Implement direct therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and adaptive strategies
• Monitor student progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed
• Complete documentation and stay compliant with school and state requirements
• Collaborate during IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary teams
