Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California OT license, or COTA with proven experience in school settings
- Full-time availability and readiness to start as soon as possible
- Competence with educational documentation and IEPs
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and fellow therapists
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational environments is highly valued
- A passion for encouraging student independence and participation in school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions based on student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with educators and parents to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapeutic strategies and equipment within classroom environments
- Support sensory, motor, and functional skill development through engaging activities
