Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and needs within the educational environment
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation on student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to promote student achievement and engagement
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state, federal, and district policies
  • Provide training, resources, and guidance to staff and families as needed
