Key Qualifications:

• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
• Document progress in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Develop resources and strategies to promote student success in the classroom
