Skills & Experience Sought:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Knowledge of IEP procedures and documentation is a bonus
- Capable of managing a varied caseload and adapting to diverse student needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessing students’ functional and educational needs
- Developing and delivering individualized treatment plans for students with a range of abilities
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize students’ success
- Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings
- Providing direct therapy one-on-one and in small group sessions
- Educating and supporting staff on OT best practices and classroom modifications
