High School Occupational Therapist School Setting - Saint Charles, IL

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist who thrives working with high school students. This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027, and offers full-time hours in a vibrant educational setting. You’ll play a vital part in supporting student development and academic success while collaborating with passionate educators and support staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (required)
• Recent experience delivering OT services in school settings
• Expertise with high school-age students and their developmental needs
• Commitment to onsite work; remote arrangements are not available
• Not accepting applications from COTAs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students to determine individual therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and school policies
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize functional and academic outcomes
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation as required by school and state regulations
• Provide direct intervention to improve students’ motor skills, adaptive behaviors, and participation in daily school routines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and school-based initiatives
