What we’re looking for:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri (or eligibility)
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally K-12
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Positive, patient, and compassionate approach to therapy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior school-based OT experience is valued but not required
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations for referred students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans within the school setting
- Collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators
- Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students in line with their IEP goals
- Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings
- Providing consultation and support to school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
