What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally K-12
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Positive, patient, and compassionate approach to therapy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior school-based OT experience is valued but not required

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations for referred students
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans within the school setting
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administrators
  • Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students in line with their IEP goals
  • Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings
  • Providing consultation and support to school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
