Occupational Therapist School Setting in Saint Louis, MO

This full-time, on-site contract runs through the end of May 2027, offering the opportunity to work with diverse age groups and collaborate with a dynamic educational team. As you support students’ development and independence, your skills and expertise will impact their academic and everyday success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, current Missouri Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous experience as a school-based OT highly preferred
• Ability to adapt interventions to different age groups (elementary, middle, and high school settings)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers and parents
• Timely completion of all required district credentialing, including fingerprinting and submission of technology agreements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve students across Barrington Elementary, North Middle School, and West High School within the Hazelwood District
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with a range of abilities and needs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and participate in student support meetings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student goals are met
• Document services and maintain records in compliance with district and federal guidelines
