Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students in a dynamic educational environment. This role centers on delivering exceptional occupational therapy services within a flexible onsite/virtual model—three days each week on campus and two days working remotely. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to help students reach their potential across multiple buildings.
Your workdays will be engaging, as you'll serve a varied caseload and adapt your approach to meet unique student needs. The position requires confidence in both direct OT interventions and related responsibilities, such as Medicaid billing. The upcoming school year begins August 6, 2026, and concludes May 26, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35-40 hours.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience working in school-based OT preferred
- Comfortable navigating both in-person and virtual service models
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing academic access and daily living skills
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans per student IEPs
- Conduct assessments and accurately document outcomes
- Provide services across multiple schools and grade levels, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Manage Medicaid billing documentation efficiently and in compliance with standards
