Step into a rewarding school-based role for the 2026-2027 academic year as an Occupational Therapist supporting elementary-aged students in a vibrant educational community near Saint Paul, MN. Collaborate with a dedicated team of occupational therapy professionals to shape and share a caseload across elementary schools, ensuring each student receives individualized attention and support. This on-site, contract opportunity spans from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027, offering 37.5 hours of meaningful work each week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure required
  • Previous school-based experience, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to divide and manage caseloads
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to meeting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in elementary settings
  • Participate in pre-school-year team meetings to divide caseloads and determine school assignments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Document progress, maintain compliance, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
