Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure required
- Previous school-based experience, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to divide and manage caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable and proactive approach to meeting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in elementary settings
- Participate in pre-school-year team meetings to divide caseloads and determine school assignments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress, maintain compliance, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
