Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in the state or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred, but open to candidates eager to transition into schools
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Ability to travel between the two designated site locations
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions based on student IEPs
- Participate in the multidisciplinary team to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans
- Support students in achieving both academic and life skills goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
