School Occupational Therapist - Saint Paul, Minnesota

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in the state or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
• Previous experience working in a school environment preferred, but open to candidates eager to transition into schools
• Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to travel between the two designated site locations

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions based on student IEPs
• Participate in the multidisciplinary team to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans
• Support students in achieving both academic and life skills goals
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
