Occupational Therapist School Setting in Salem, OR

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Oregon
• Experience in a school setting or with K-12 caseloads preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists
• Proficient in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for development
• Develop and execute Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in accordance with IEP mandates
• Work alongside teachers, families, and related service providers to integrate OT recommendations into daily routines
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams as required
