Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in California
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and sensory integration
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, teachers, and other providers
  • Flexibility and creativity in adapting interventions to meet diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess PreK students to determine need for occupational therapy services
  • Develop and deliver tailored treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Lead individual and small group sessions to enhance fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
  • Collaborate closely with educational teams, caregivers, and other specialists
  • Monitor progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide training to staff and support generalization of skills in classroom environments
