Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist and eligibility to practice in California
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, with an understanding of IEP processes
- Strong communication and organization skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adaptability and resourcefulness for traveling between multiple sites
- A passion for empowering students to reach their greatest independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based Occupational Therapy services to a varied caseload of students across designated schools
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student access and academic achievement
- Support classroom staff with strategies and accommodations to enhance student participation
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
