Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • School-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and providing direct and consultative OT services in educational settings
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple campuses
  • Open to graduate OTs with pediatric or school fieldwork experience

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs
  • Travel between school sites as part of an itinerant assignment
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions based on student assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing OT insights and recommending strategies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
  • Educate school personnel about OT practices and student accommodations
  • Promote student engagement, independence, and access to curriculum
