Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in California (or the ability to obtain before the start date)
• Strong foundation in delivering OT services within school environments
• Experience in creating and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Willingness to travel between campuses as part of an itinerant assignment
• Open to both seasoned professionals and motivated newer graduates

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted intervention plans for students with varying needs
• Provide direct therapy sessions to support students’ academic and developmental goals
• Collaborate with educators to adapt curriculum and school environments, promoting access and participation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, documenting progress and advocating for appropriate services
• Guide and educate staff and families on strategies for supporting occupational performance in and out of the classroom
• Manage a varied caseload with efficiency, flexibility, and a student-focused approach
