Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based (K-12)
Location: Salisbury, NC
Duration: Contract, Current School Year (CSY)

Compensation: $50-$55 hourly

An experienced Occupational Therapist with an active state OT license is needed to support a K-12 school in Salisbury, NC. This position is a contract role beginning ASAP and extending through the end of the current school year, with the possibility for renewal. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and is suited for candidates seeking part-time work in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct school-based occupational therapy evaluations aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide supervision and guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Collaborate with school teams to support IEP services and interventions
• Support an existing sole OT within the school without carrying an independent caseload

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active occupational therapy license in the state of North Carolina
• Prior experience working as a school-based OT is required
• Strong knowledge of educational processes, special education requirements, and school-based therapy practices
• Proven ability to supervise COTAs and collaborate effectively with educators and other professionals
