Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Antonio, TX

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K–10 students as an Occupational Therapist on a flexible contract basis. This on-site position is located near the vibrant community of San Antonio, TX, and is perfectly suited for therapists passionate about enhancing young lives through hands-on educational support.

You’ll work one day per week, focusing on a manageable caseload of approximately four students who benefit from both evaluations and direct therapy services. A notable portion of your work will support autistic children, providing specialized articulation fluency interventions tailored to their individual needs.

Your background includes:

• Valid Texas state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Skill in delivering both evaluation and direct therapy services
• Familiarity with supporting diverse learning needs, especially with articulation and fluency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and educators
• Comfort working on-site in a school environment

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for assigned students
• Develop individualized therapy plans that target articulation and fluency
• Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions tailored to both general K–10 students and those on the autism spectrum
• Collaborate with educators and parents to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for each student on your caseload
