With a consistent 35-hour work week, you’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and be a vital part of shaping students’ academic and personal growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Pediatric or school-based OT experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for diverse student needs
  • Experience collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite occupational therapy services tailored to students within a school setting
  • Assess students to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a COTA for coordinated service delivery
  • Work closely with special education teams to support IEP goals
  • Document ongoing progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as needed
  • Mentor and offer guidance to COTAs and other team members
  • Communicate with families and educators to maximize student outcomes
