Certified Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting - San Ardo, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license.
• Certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in school settings preferred, with comfort supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Experience with IEP documentation and participation in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to determine their needs for occupational therapy interventions within the educational setting.
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff to support integration of therapy goals into daily classroom routines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, goals, and IEP requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance student access to the curriculum.
• Educate and coach school personnel and families on strategies to support student success in school activities.
• Flexibly adapt therapy sessions to address a variety of needs and environments within the school.
