Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
  • Previous experience working as an OT in school settings or with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with IEPs and planning targeted interventions for elementary-aged children
  • Proficiency in therapies focusing on fine motor skill development
  • Experience with home health, teletherapy, or healthcare-related OT services (a plus)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong time management, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for eligible elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills in classroom environments
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
  • Provide consultation and training to school personnel and families as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
