Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or experienced COTA
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with fine motor skills interventions and school-based assessments
  • Familiarity with healthcare-related OT documentation and best practices
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and students

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students on assigned caseload
  • Evaluate students’ needs, set measurable goals, and track progress
  • Implement intervention plans targeting fine motor skills and functional participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussion and planning
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation addressing student progress and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver services in person and possibly via teletherapy, as needed
