Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Strong understanding of IEPs, goal writing, and therapy documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Capacity to manage a diverse caseload of students with varying needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized therapy plans for students as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to provide strategies and accommodations that enhance student participation and independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide progress reports on student development
• Adapt interventions to help students successfully access their curriculum and school environment
