Looking for a dynamic opportunity to make a significant impact as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive school-based environment? This full-time, contract role offers the chance to work with students during the 2026-2027 academic year. From August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, you’ll play a vital role in fostering student growth and success.

As the go-to OT, you’ll partner with educators and families to develop and implement individualized strategies that address students’ needs, empowering them to participate fully in school life. Your professional expertise will create a positive, engaging environment where every student can thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledgeable in developing and managing IEPs as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and varying caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate students’ functional needs in the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to formulate individualized occupational therapy goals
  • Design and implement intervention plans that help students achieve optimal independence and academic success
  • Document services, progress, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide consultation and education to school personnel and families
